About Me
As a graduate of the University of Delaware, I have been exposed to several on-campus groups, internships, and jobs regarding writing and quickly fell in love with it. Starting as a Fashion Merchandising major, I found myself interning for online fashion magazines and blogging websites. I then realized that writing was my calling and changed my major to English with a concentration in Professional Writing. Changing my major allowed me to learn more about the world of writing and explore new options outside of fashion. I have always been involved with social media and discovered a passion for social media writing. On my own time, I began a food blog in order to express my love for cooking while combining it with my love for writing and sharing with others.
I have been a professional Technical Writer for 4 years at a tax compliance software company. This position has allowed me to understand how to write for any and all circumstances, especially ones I initially had no knowledge of. I have taught myself how to use various documentation tools, such as FrameMaker, MadCap Flare and Microsoft Word. I am an extremely flexible writer and love writing about what I know, and love learning about what I don't.
